Meet the Nurse

Christy Sweeney RN

Hi, I'm Christy Sweeney and I am the Nurse for Campbell ISD. I have been a Registered Nurse for 5 years and a school nurse for the last 3 years. However, I started in the medical field over 10 years ago. Before becoming a nurse I received certifications as a Medical Assistant and EMT-B and went to school for Paramedic. Currently I live in Commerce with my fiance Jon and 4 kids; Sydney who is a senior, Drake (7th grade), Matthew (5th grade), and Case who started PK this year. I enjoy being outside whether it be working around the farm, hunting, or watching my kids with their sports. My passion is in pediatrics and emergency medicine and I love having the opportunity incorporate both and work in a school setting.
