Annual Progress Report for Early Childhood Goals
Although the district did not meet the required reading and math goals for the 2020-2021 school year with only 4/15 meeting expectations, the district feels COVID 19 online instruction had a negative impact on students.
All teachers in grades k-8 have been trained in Neuhaus dsylexia intervention and Fountas and Pinnell literacy intervention. Small group reading intervention is in place to fill the educational gaps in reading.
Teachers have also began to process of small group intervention in math. Math facts, math fluency, and general math skills are being addressed in these small groups.
